On behalf of our client, an innovative organization working in the field of sustainable technologies and industrial wastewater treatment, we are looking for a Chemical Analyst to join the company's research team and laboratory.

Type of employment: fixed-term project contract with possibility of extension
Reporting to: Head of Laboratory/Lead Researcher
Main purpose of the role:
The role involves conducting physico-chemical analyses of wastewater from various industries to assess contamination and track the effectiveness of biological treatment. You will support the development of innovative microbial products through reliable and accurate laboratory data.
Key Responsibilities:
Analysis of industrial wastewater samples - both in the laboratory and in the field.
Determination and quantitative analysis of heavy metals, cyanides, chlorine and manganese compounds.
Working with analytical instruments such as AAS, ICP-MS, UV-VIS, HPLC, etc.
Participation in efficacy tests of biological preparations - laboratory and scale-up.
Conduct comparative analyses before and after treatment with microbial products.
Documentation of results, preparation of protocols and technical reports.
Apply Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and ensure analytical accuracy.
Active participation in the planning of experiments and the choice of analytical methods.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of microbiologists, bioengineers and technologists.
Role Requirements:
Higher education in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Environment or related specialties.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in laboratory analytical work (advantage: in the field of wastewater or industrial contaminants).
Knowledge in the analysis of organic and inorganic contaminants, including heavy metals.
Experience with laboratory analytical control instrumentation.
Good computer literacy - MS Office and/or laboratory data software (LIMS).
Skills in accurate interpretation and validation of results.
